Kuu- Air
Kuu's first dream was of floating around in the air, almost leading to an overlap with Rakka's name. Kuu is the smallest of the older feathers, always feeling like the child of the group and wishing to be mature. She was the youngest of the older feathers, being only two years old. However, when Rakka's cocoon was found, she began hoping for a 'little sister' in the new feather, only to realize later that Rakka would've been put with the young feathers if she were any smaller than Kuu was. Kuu spends a lot of time with Rakka, teaching her about the town and the people in it. She wishes that she could talk with the crows and pities them for the way Kana treats them. Kuu is the first of the older feathers to take her Day of Flight and struggles to thank Rakka for her help. By allowing Kuu to teach her as a senior would, Kuu finally felt mature. Kuu is the bright, peppy young tomboy who sees life as an adventure. However, unlike Kana, Kuu actually does get mistaken for a boy on a couple of occasions. She can be a bit klutzy, but her intentions are good. She's just a little kid getting into trouble.
